Darrell Brown
Darrell Brown is a seasoned cinematographer with 40 years of experience, travelling the globe to film local, national, and international TV commercials. His career includes freelance work with prominent programs such as Australian 60 Minutes, The Project, and SBS Insight.
In recent years, Darrell expanded his expertise into production, serving as a producer on the pilot TV series for FOX, Spooky People, as well as documentaries and corporate projects.
In 2015, Darrell became a bestselling author with his acclaimed book on fatherhood, Raised by Our Childhood Voices, which received high praise from parenting experts worldwide.
Darrell is certified as an NLP Master Practitioner and Associate Trainer, as well as a Hypnotherapist. He also leads Rites Together, a contemporary rites of passage weekend designed for fathers and young boys.
An honorary member of the Australian Institute of Management (AFAIM), Darrell is recognised as a distinguished public speaker, sharing his insights and experiences with diverse audiences.
Stephen Brown
Stephen Brown is a former Deputy Commissioner of the Western Australia Police Force, where he served for 35 years in roles dedicated to building safer, stronger, and more resilient communities. Throughout his executive leadership career, Stephen held national and state advisory positions across law enforcement, emergency management and government, overseeing more than 4,800 personnel and an operating budget of $650 million.
Recognised internationally, Stephen has been a leading contributor to modern investigative practice, organisational reform, crime prevention, and the global Evidence-Based Policing movement. His work has helped shape how agencies understand harm, respond to risk, and build systems that protect communities.
After transitioning from policing, Stephen worked across the private sector as an independent corporate risk advisor and later as a Director with Deloitte Forensic (Perth), supporting organisations to strengthen integrity, safety, and culture.
Today, Stephen is the Managing Director of People Assignment Pty Ltd — a trusted Western Australian consultancy providing investigation, human resource, and recruiting services, along with specialist contract personnel. He also serves as Presiding or Deputy Presiding Member on multiple Local Government Audit, Risk and Improvement Committees. Stephen holds a Master of Applied Criminology from Cambridge University (UK).
Stephen brings these experiences to ITSON.COM as a strategic advisor, helping guide our mission to reduce harm and prevent crime in communities across the world. His work with ITSON.COM supports our commitment to evidence-led storytelling, scalable prevention frameworks, and real-world impact.

Terry North, co-founder of Australia’s largest privately owned IT company and a corporate success story whose journey is defined by determination, vision, and a strong belief in himself. With a career marked by the creation and growth of a multimillion-dollar IT company, Terry has showcased a remarkable blend of entrepreneurial spirit and strategic thinking.
